Overview
The Karishma Ali Foundation (KAF) is a pioneering organization dedicated to empowering young girls in Pakistan and beyond, through sports and education.
Going into 2024, they wanted to refresh their website. They wanted to kick this project off with an impact report and the overarching idea was to keep both projects visually cohesive.

Visual Refresh
We wanted to refresh the identity for KAF without having to take away its identity. We were going to keep the runner symbol, being a unique identifier for the mark but we at the same time make the identity feel more modern and versatile.
Website Design
The entire idea behind the website was to put the work being carried out by the foundation, front and center. And to then figure out a way to organize everything else around it.
This is what the website looked like at the time. Information was scattered and at times didn't highlight the extent of their work.
It all began with a a grid system so everything looked cohesive. We also wanted the website to have color - firstly, to represent the Sustainability Development Goals that KAF is trying to fulfil and secondly, to represent the variety of work that the organization is carrying out for girls and women across Pakistan.
We then moved onto developing blocks that can then be used across the website so its easier to add content in the future as well. This helped the website design build scalable roots.
